Yemen: Cholera BROLL and outbreak of violence in Taiz

Hi there,

We have new broll footage from inside the MSF cholera treatment centre in Khamir Hospital, Amran governerate in Yemen. Attached to this email and also online here

It includes:

- General views of sick patients arriving and receiving care at CTC in Khamir
- General views of chlorination and hygiene measures set up at CTC in Khamir
- Interview with Claire Manera, MSF project coordinator in Khamir Hospital

In addition to the every worsening cholera outbreak our health centers in Taiz also received an influx of wounded people yesterday. In Taiz treated 57 war wounded and received 17 dead bodies yesterday alone, of which 75% were women and children.

All of them were hit while being home, on their way to or back from work, at home, or simply while walking on the streets.

We have now treated more than 5000 cholera patients since the start of the outbreak and this number is increasing everyday.

We have spokespeople available so do get in touch if you're looking for comment or interviews

thanks, Charlotte
