Flash Statement: MSF to address the UN Security Council TODAY

22 February 2023: Following an invitation last week to speak officially at the UN Security Council to address its 15 member states at its monthly briefing on the situation in Gaza, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has accepted.

MSF wants to draw attention to the significance of the situation we have witnessed since Oct 7, 2023.

MSF rarely speaks at this forum but we felt compelled.

The International Secretary Chris Lockyear will represent MSF today.

The briefing can be seen today at 10h00 EST /16.00 CET on https://webtv.un.org/en.
