Gaza update - Israeli airstrike in Deir Al Balah

On 10 October, after an Israeli airstrike targeted a school in Deir Al Balah, Central Gaza, the MSF-supported Al Aqsa Hospital turned once again into scenes of chaos and bloodshed with the arrival of dozens of wounded and 20 dead people.

60 patients, including 5 severely injured children, were brought to the Al Aqsa Hospital. “The staff are feeling helpless. There are no beds, and enough supplies to treat the wounded. We don’t even have sterile gauzes left”, says Eliza Sabatini, MSF nurse in Gaza.

This is the second time in the span of a week that the Al Aqsa Hospital has received an influx of severely wounded patients due to Israeli airstrikes. Israel must immediately stop its all-out war on people in Gaza.
