Médecins Sans Frontières hosts Clowns Sans Frontières
Over the past weeks, our team in Aboutengue camp hosted performances by Clowns Sans Frontières, bringing moments of relief and laughter to children and adults alike. The camp shelters around 45,000 Sudanese refugees who fled Darfur, 70% of whom are children.
The Clowns Sans Frontières show is part of our mental wellbeing support activities for refugees. Since the beginning of 2024, we have provided 2,283 mental health consultations in this camp.
MSF has been present in Aboutengue camp for nearly a year and a half, delivering critical medical and humanitarian assistance.
