    "body": "<p style=\"text-align: left\">24 September 2026 - M&eacute;decins Sans Fronti&egrave;res / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is stepping up to respond to an influx of wounded people in central Mali, which is facing an increase in violence. MSF is supporting the Ministry of Health in providing care for the wounded and displaced. </p><p style=\"text-align: left\">On the 15th September, an attack by armed men on the village of Touara, in the S&eacute;gou region, left several people dead and triggered a wave of displacement. Twenty-five wounded people were taken to the hospital in Macina, where medicines and emergency kits provided by MSF made it possible to treat them. </p><p style=\"text-align: left\">MSF teams are preparing to launch a mobile clinic in Macina to meet the medical needs of nearly 2,000 displaced people, the majority of whom are women and children. MSF is responding to an influx of injured people in central Mali (copyright: MSF)</em></figcaption>\n    </figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Additionally, on the 16th September, a drone attack in the village of Gu&eacute;l&eacute;dje left at least seven people dead and many others injured, according to witnesses. Four seriously injured people were taken to the T&eacute;nenkou Referral Health Center (CSREF). One of the victims died shortly after arrival, the others were treated on site by MSF medical teams.
