MSF UK: Corbyn-led Gaza tribunal flashquote

16 March 2026 - MSF UK welcomes the publication of the Jeremy Corbyn-led Gaza Tribunal Report, which finds the UK Government has been complicit in crimes committed by Israel in Gaza.

MSF UK provided testimony at the Tribunal last September. ​

Reacting to the report, Kristen Veblen McArthur, Deputy Executive Director of MSF UK, said, “These findings correspond with MSF’s testimonies. Our teams have witnessed the mass deliberate harm of civilians through killing and injury. The Israeli authorities have been purposefully and systematically destroying the conditions necessary for Palestinian life in Gaza. Israeli military actions have repeatedly targeted civilians, with attacks leaving entire neighbourhoods in ruins and families wiped out. ​

We have written seven letters to the past and current Prime Ministers and Foreign Secretaries of the UK to bear witness to what has happened in Gaza, to ask about the UK’s support of Israel, and to ask that the UK takes action to prevent and punish crimes against humanity and genocide in line with its international commitments. We have been asking for a meeting with the Foreign Secretary for over two years, but we have still not received an invite to meet. We concluded that the UK Government does not want to acknowledge what we have to say.

We agree with the report’s findings that the Government’s failure to meet its legal obligations has contributed to the mass killing of Palestinian civilians and the desecration of international law.”
