MSF UKRAINE: Voicenote on widespread blackouts

Right now there are widespread power cuts in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions due to repeated strikes by the Russian military on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

These blackouts are affecting the functioning of hospitals. As the region braces for extreme sub-zero weather in the coming days, our colleagues in Dnipropetrovsk are attempting to treat elderly and infirm patients for hypothermia without electricity or running water.
