MSF Update on the forced displacement of people by Israeli forces in Al-Far’a refugee camp, in Tubas, West Bank

The forced displacement of people by Israeli forces in Al-Far’a refugee camp, in Tubas, West Bank, is appalling and it follows the displacement of already 38,000 people in Jenin and Tulkarem.

Forced evacuations and the widespread destruction occurring in the West Bank follow an alarming pattern of oppression and have a severe impact on people’s health and their living conditions. In response, MSF is supporting displaced families with basic hygiene kits and medicines.

The military assault carried out inside the camp for the ninth day in a row is severely restricting Palestinians' movements and access to essential services as a curfew has been imposed and the camp’s entrances have been blocked by Israeli forces.

The increase in violence and aggression against civilians across the Occupied Palestinian Territories must stop. According to the Ministry of Health, at least 70 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since the start of the year.
