South Gaza: Airstrike forces MSF staff and patients to evacuate healthcare centre

14 November 2024 - A huge airstrike hit the densely populated zone of Al Mawasi in Khan Younis, southern Gaza on Wednesday, 13 November, at around 11 am local time.

MSF evacuated patients and staff from the Al Attar primary healthcare centre, located around 250 metres from the centre of the attack.

Al Mawasi was designated as a safe zone by Israeli authorities but is repeatedly bombed by Israeli forces. MSF teams did not receive evacuation orders and were notified by the residents.
