Statement: Killing of PRCS and UN staff

Médecins Sans Frontières/ Doctors Without Borders (MSF) sends its deepest condolences to the Palestine Red Crescent Society and the United Nations for the killing of eight medics and one UN staff in Rafah, southern Gaza.

Our thoughts are with their family members and colleagues.

MSF strongly condemns these killings by Israeli forces, and calls – once again – for the protection of medical staff, health facilities and patients.

Since the start of the war, nearly 400 medical and humanitarian workers have been killed.
